No. The FORM Upholstered Foundation is the foundation. Its wood slat deck supports your mattress directly, so you don’t add a box spring.
No. The Upholstered Foundation stands on its own 6-inch legs as a complete bed base. You can also set it inside a bed frame if you want a headboard and footboard around it.
It’s built to stand on its legs. If you need a foundation that sits flat on the floor or on bed-frame rails, contact us before you order and we’ll help you choose the right setup.
Yes. It supports every FORM mattress, from the 10-inch FORM Core to the 15-inch FORM Prime X, plus other foam, hybrid, latex and innerspring mattresses.
No. An adjustable base replaces the foundation. Choose the Upholstered Foundation for a flat, stationary bed, or the FORM Adjustable Bed Base for adjustable positions.
We recommend up to 750 pounds, including the mattress and sleepers.
The Upholstered Foundation doesn’t include headboard brackets. To use a headboard, set it inside a bed frame that has its own headboard mounts.
Order two Twin XL foundations, one under each Twin XL mattress. A standard King mattress uses one King foundation.
The Upholstered Foundation ships free by ground carrier and usually arrives in 5–10 business days. It assembles in minutes without tools.
The Upholstered Foundation has a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and faults in the upholstery. Bed bases are final sale once delivered. If yours arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we’ll make it right under warranty.
